JC Public Libraries | JC Council Office | Human Resources |
Health & Human Services | JC Municipal Court | JC Housing Authority |
Housing, Economic Development, & Commerce | JCTV | Business Administrator |
Program Elements
Hands-on work experience may include helping plan and organize community festivals and events with the Division of Cultural Affairs, addressing resident concerns as a member of the Resident Response Center, engaging younger children in the library system’s enrichment programs, life-guarding at one of our many pools managed by the Department of Recreation’s Aquatics Program, serving as a camp counselor at one Recreation’s Summer Fun Camp sites, or helping to keep our community clean through the Department of Public Works. While working on a variety of projects, youth ages 15 – 24 will make a positive contribution to their community and gain the necessary skills along the way to support a successful future.
